CV

Martin Holzapfel, furniture maker and interior designer, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. His aim is to create sensual and and mysterious furniture that retains its simplicity, interacting with the space. His designs not only incorporate pragmatic necessity, they also transmit an emotional quality within the everyday environment. The body-like pieces exist in a space between practical function and poetic association, not immediately declaring their use.
